Quick Play is fully offline — one phone, zero setup, no Wi-Fi needed. Perfect for road trips or anywhere without internet. Pass the phone around and everyone plays from the same device.
Host a Session creates an online multiplayer room where each player joins on their own device. You get access to all game modes and can have up to 20 players in one session.
Share your room code with other players. They tap Join on their device, enter the code, and they're in. You can also share the QR code directly from the lobby screen — no account needed for anyone.
Everyone who joins a multiplayer session needs the app installed. No account is needed — they just enter the room code and pick a display name.
Everyone receives the same card — a question about the spotlight player. Each person submits their best guess at how the spotlight player would answer, and points are awarded for every guess that matches. At the end of the round, everyone sees who knew the spotlight player best.
Yes — Classic mode is available in Quick Play, which works entirely offline. Choose your pack, pass the phone around, and go. No Wi-Fi, no room code, no setup required.
Tap View more from the home screen, then tap Create Your Own Pack. Write your cards one by one — inside jokes, personal dares, whatever fits your group. You need at least 5 cards to save a deck. Once saved, your deck is available in any game mode.
Free players can create up to 3 custom decks. Premium subscribers can create unlimited decks. You can upgrade to Premium anytime from inside the app.
Yes — when you host a session, any custom decks you've created are available to add to the game. All players in the room can then draw from your deck during play, even if it only lives on your device.
Yes. Head to All Packs and tap Custom to filter your decks. Press and hold the deck you want to change — a menu will appear with the option to edit or delete it.
Yes — when you host a session with a Premium pack selected, all players in your room can draw from that pack during the game. Premium benefits the whole room when the host has it.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Candor: Card Game, and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period.
Open the app and go to the Premium screen. Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
First try tapping Restore Purchases on the Premium screen. If that doesn't resolve it, email us at support.tipsypixel@gmail.com with your Apple ID email and we'll sort it out promptly.
This is usually a connection issue. Make sure all players have a stable internet connection. Ask affected players to close and reopen the app — they should be able to rejoin the active session using the same room code without losing progress.
Try force-quitting the app and reopening it. If the problem persists, email us at support.tipsypixel@gmail.com with a description of what happened, your device model, and your iOS version — we'll investigate as quickly as possible.
